FREE CARE-HOURS PLANNER
Estimate the home-care hours your family wants to discuss
Use one ordinary week to map the times when another person's non-medical help could make the routine more manageable. This free planner does not ask for your name or contact information, and it does not decide how much care a person needs.
PRIVATE, UNGATED PLANNING TOOL
Build a private weekly estimate
There is no universal number of home-care hours. Start with the time blocks when help would be useful, subtract the help family or friends can reliably provide, and total the uncovered time the family wants to discuss. Peacemaker reviews the exact location, requested schedule, non-medical tasks and current caregiver availability before confirming any service.
Your selections remain only in this page's memory until you start over, refresh, or leave. They are not sent to Peacemaker. Printing or saving creates a separate copy on your device or printer; protect that copy. Do not enter names, diagnoses, medications, addresses, or medical details.

- Weekly duration
- Total duration of the non-overlapping blocks selected for the week
- Selected start days
- Unique days on which an entered block begins; an overnight block may also touch the following calendar day
- Planned time blocks
- One occurrence for each selected day, including repeated days within a block
Printing or saving creates a separate copy. Protect it, especially on a shared device or printer.
An unfinished support block is not included in the saved weekly total. Return to the page, then add or clear the block before printing again.

This is a private weekly planning estimate—not a clinical assessment, safety determination, prescribed amount of care, guaranteed schedule or price quote. Peacemaker must confirm location, requested support, timing and caregiver availability individually.
Be ready to discuss
- The exact days and preferred start and end times
- Which periods are flexible
- The non-medical routines the family wants help with
- Whether the request is one-time, short-term or recurring
- The care location and backup plan when family availability changes
How the estimate is calculated
Weekly hours equal the total duration of the non-overlapping time blocks selected for one week.
- Add each uncovered time block and choose every day when it repeats.
- Choose whether the block ends the same day, the next day or after a full 24 hours. Overnight time is split across the two calendar days while still counting as one planned block.
- The estimator rejects overlapping saved blocks so the same minutes are not counted twice, then totals the remaining duration for the week.
Important: This is a weekly planning estimate—hours to discuss. It is not a clinical assessment, safety determination, prescribed amount of care, guaranteed schedule or price quote.

Understand what may change the cost
The number of requested hours is only one part of a budget. Peacemaker's rates vary with appointment length, the number of scheduled service days in the week, and other quote-specific factors. The particular weekdays selected do not change the rate. Peacemaker provides a written, schedule-specific quote before service begins.

Questions about estimating home-care hours
Does this calculator tell me how much care someone needs?
No. It totals only the time blocks you enter. It does not assess safety, prescribe care or recommend a minimum number of hours.
Can a support block cross midnight?
Yes. Choose Ends the next day for an overnight block, or Full 24-hour period for a complete day ending at the same time the next day. The day-by-day summary shows how that time is divided.
What happens if two blocks overlap?
The estimator identifies the conflicting day and time and asks you to adjust the schedule before saving. This prevents the same minutes from being counted twice.
Are my entries saved or sent to Peacemaker?
No. Entries remain only in the page's temporary memory and clear when you start over, refresh or leave. Printing or saving creates a separate copy on your device or printer.
Is the weekly estimate a price quote?
No. Requested hours are only one part of pricing. Peacemaker must review the schedule, location, non-medical tasks and current availability before confirming pricing for that request.
